Okotie Akpovi is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 17 years experience in the managed healthcare industry in Nigeria. He has held various roles with evidenced results across the following functions; client/account management, healthcare provider management and customer service. He has successfully managed large client portfolios.

He holds a diploma in Nursing and Postgraduate Diploma in Social Work from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTHECH), Ogbomoso, Oyo State.

He commenced his career in industrial Clinic management in 2002 as clinical nurse with Hygeia HMO a subsidiary of Hygeia Nigeria Limited before growing through the ranks to a Head, Care Call Centre, serving a first line support and training for clients, healthcare providers and HMO liaison officer.

He has worked in various organizations including Guardian Health Management Limited (HMO) as Head of quality assurance and provider management, Oceanic Health Management Limited (HMO) as the Head of the Care Call Centre where he extensively revamped the Oceanic Health Care Call Centre using passive and active case management in patient care, with his deep knowledge in Customer service management and Tele Marketing, he became Head, Members Experience (Clients Relations).
